Legal and participant protection

Membership of the cooperative is personal, documented and subject to review by cooperative administrators. Members must provide accurate identity, contact and payment details and keep them current.

Members agree to take part in cooperative farming activity in good faith, to respect farm access rules and safety instructions, and to follow the harvest handling procedures published for each farming cycle.

Membership may be suspended or withdrawn where a member provides false information, breaches farm safety rules, interferes with cultivation activity or acts in a way that damages other members' produce or the cooperative's operations.

Each farming cycle has its own participation agreement. The agreement records the crop, farm, cycle duration, participation cost, units held, estimated yield range, disclosed agricultural risks and the harvest options available to the participant.

Participation payments support actual cultivation activity. Approved production deductions are recorded, itemised and disclosed to participants before allocation.

Participants confirm the acknowledgements below before payment is accepted for a cycle.

Farming is affected by weather, rainfall variability, soil conditions, pests, disease, input quality, labour availability, transport conditions and market prices. Yield may be lower or higher than estimates and harvest dates may shift.

Financial proceeds are not guaranteed. Where a managed sale is authorised, the price obtained depends on market conditions at the time of sale.

Insurance status, known farm risks and mitigation measures are published on each farming cycle page before participation closes.

The programme publishes field reports, recorded cultivation expenses, verified harvest weights and allocation records so that members can follow what happens to the crop they participate in.

Members may raise a support ticket at any time. Tickets are tracked with a status, an assigned officer and a recorded response until resolution or escalation.

Harvest decisions, collection schedules, authorised sales and donations are recorded with the member's confirmation so that no allocation is disposed of without instruction.

Personal data collected during registration and membership review is used to verify identity, administer membership, process participation records and communicate programme information.

Identity documents and bank details are stored for membership administration and payout purposes and are accessible only to authorised cooperative staff.

Members can request correction of their personal details from their dashboard or by contacting the programme team.
